Title: Management of beach soccer in the Czech Republic Objectives: The main objective of this thesis was to present recommendations for the management of beach soccer in the Czech Republic derived from its analysis on the basis of sequential management functions, such as planning, organizing, selecting and deploying staff, leading people and controlling. This analysis, which is a secondary objective and precedes the main objective, was performed by comparing the responses, attitudes and opinions of the respondents of the semi-structured interviews regarding the functioning of beach soccer management. Methods: Internal documents analysis, semi-structured interviews with a top beach soccer manager, Chief coach of the national teams and two players of beach soccer Results: The result of this thesis is a series of recommendations for the management of beach soccer in the Czech Republic based on its previous analysis. A new strategic plan is proposed, in which the required number of members in 2028 is rapidly reduced, which also results in an analogous reduction in the required number of teams and leagues. In addition, it was also proposed to reduce the number of newly built pitches across the...

Rábová, Veronika ; Hasmanová Marhánková, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Pavlík, Petr (referee)
This thesis focuses on the topic of single-parent family, because this type of family, which are led only by one parent, is very relevant to our present social situation. In the context of current demographic trends related to the transformation of society in the perception of family and partner relationships, it can be assumed that their number will be continue to grow. For the most part, a woman is at the forefront of "incomplete" families. Single-parent family is perceived as a highly gendered experience, which is primarily related to women. The aim of this work was to find out what the experience of single parent looks like in the case of single fathers. This premise of this thesis is to explore what reasons have the fathers to choose to be single parents, what this type of commitment means for men, how they sign on their everyday life and especially how this type of primary care relates to the concept of hegemonic masculinity. Gender perspective thus provides a comprehensive insight into single-parent family and presents the perspective of the fathers themselves. For this purpose...

The master thesis "The creation and reproduction of historical consciousness on the example of the association Radecký Praha" deals with the historical consciousness, its creation and reproduction. The theoretical part defines not only historical consciousness but also pays attention to the related issues, such as collective memory, historical memory, sites of memory, or national identity, due to the fact that the boundaries between collective memory and historical consciousness are often at least unclear. Theoretical part is primarily based on the works of Maurice Halbwachs, Jan Assmann, Miroslav Hroch and Pierre Nora. The empirical part of this study concludes the research of the association Radetzky Prague, which seeks to return the monument of Marshal Radetzky on the Malostranské náměstí. The research tries to describe and understand the ways of creation and reproduction of historical consciousness of its members throughout the analysis of qualitative interviews. Mentioned authors already provide a certain methodological background research. Conclusion contains a summary and a comparison of research results with theses of authors that are dealing with similar themes. This work is not a purely historical or sociological one; it is trying to stay somewhere between historical and sociological...

It focuses on the frequency of the amateur photographs and videos published on the selected news web sites and also on the gatekeeping process. This master's thesis also reflects the editor's opinions on the citizen photojournalism and the citizen videojournalism. The citizen journalism is usually viewed from the perspective of the citizen journalists, but this master's thesis brings the view from the second side, from the media professionals. The thesis uses the combination of the quantitative and qualitative methods. Firstly, there was conducted the quantitative content analysis. Secondly, there were interviewed the media professionals. The conclusions of the master's thesis indicate that the citizen photojournalism and the citizen videojournalism is rarely used on the Czech web sites. The media professionals evaluate this phenomenon positively, find its contributions to the news flow but only under the certain conditions. On the other hand, they do not find the citizen photojournalism and videojournalism absolutely necessary element for the news service.

Opposing concepts of masculinity in the communication of Fernet Stock and AXE and their reflexion by different generations of men
Ružičková, Judita ; Krobová, Tereza (advisor) ; Klabíková Rábová, Tereza (referee)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on different representations of masculinity in marketing communication targeting men. Cases presented are those of Fernet Stock and AXE brands, whose communications portray masculinity in starkly contrasting ways. Fernet Stock urges middle-aged men to resist societal changes and not to yield their traditional masculine toughness, whereas AXE attempts to encourage young men to be their true selves, even at the cost of breaking masculine stereotypes. The aim of the thesis is to deepen the understanding of male self-identified views of masculinity, how they differ from one generation to another, and how well these correspond to the representation in the studied cases of marketing communication. The research is guided by existing theoretical concepts of masculinity, using the theory of hegemonic masculinity by Australian sociologist Raewyn Connell as a basis. The thesis is conducted as a qualitative research, using the method of thematic analysis of semi- structured interviews with members of both target groups, middle-aged and young men, respectively.
